Probate is a court administered process of distributing a decedent's assets.

If a decedent prepared a Will then Mr. Bohana will assist the personal representative in the administration of the estate, including marshalling assets, paying fees and taxes and distributing the assets to the beneficiaries.
If a decedent did not prepare a Will then Mr. Bohana will provide comprehensive representation throughout the probate process and will assist the qualified representative in administering the estate
In California any estate over $100,000 which does not have a Will in place or in an appropriate Trust, will need to go through the court process known as Probate. The probate process can take anywhere from several months to a few years.
